In 2016, NTCA successfully implemented initiatives that has provided increased education and opportunities for the local HR communities. It sought to fulfill its mission of being a high quality, cost-effective source for professional development while encouraging networking and information exchange between its members. "We changed our focus to the value you receive with your membership," said Tina Opp, CCP, GRP, CSCP, CEBS, PHR, president of NTCA. "We also did things like reach out to people who had dropped their memberships. We're hoping for an even bigger increase in membership this next year."
