About Polling
Polling is a dynamic way to get audience interaction and engagement throughout your session. Here are some things for you to determine if audience polling would enhance your event presentation and benefit your audience.

  • Gauge interests
Tailor your presentation in real time. Polling results can help identify how much time to spend on key areas of your presentation or help determine what topics to discuss.
  • Compare and contrast
Discover audience-specific attributes with questions like, how many of your organizations do X, Y, or Z or what of the following have been your biggest challenges?
  • Compare survey data to the attendee group
Poll attendees on certain data points, show their answers and then discuss the higher trends/data you’d received from a previously conducted survey.
  • Gauge learning and retention
Reinforce learning with quiz-style questions to measure audience comprehension.

 Polling parameters:

  • No more than five polling questions.
  • Multiple choice format with up to five answer responses
    • 90-character limit for each question (including spaces)
    • 60-character limit for each answer (including spaces)
  • Attendees can only select one answer.

If you’d like to incorporate polling into your session, please fill out this form and send it to Speaker Management by Friday, May 15th.
