July 6, 2017 — WASHINGTON, D.C. — WorldatWork, the total rewards association, is encouraging submissions for the American Benefits Council's Thought Leadership Competition for Emerging Professionals.The council is seeking submissions from emerging benefits professionals that answer the question, "What would make the employee benefits system more successful in the future?" WorldatWork is one of five communication partners for this award.
The awards will recognize individuals who are early in their benefits career and whose responsibilities touch benefits, such as a human resources professionals, attorneys, actuaries, or government affairs representatives. Entries are not restricted to one type of medium, and creativity is encouraged. The judging panel includes WorldatWork subject-matter experts, as well as other industry leaders.
"We are thrilled to partner with the American Benefits Council to recognize future leaders in our industry, and we expect many phenomenal submissions," said Cara Woodson Welch, vice president of External Affairs & Practice Leadership at WorldatWork.
The awards will be presented at the American Benefits Council's 50th Anniversary Gala Dinner and Symposium, Nov. 29-30. The first price winner will receive a cash prize of $2,500.
