Review Process
Each manuscript considered for publication is subject to review by the WorldatWork technical staff and volunteer reviewers with expertise in the topic area addressed in the article. The review process is “blind,” meaning that the identities of authors and reviewers are not shared. After significant re-write or revision, articles are subject to further review.

Manuscript evaluations are based on the value of the topic, timeliness, soundness of content, readability and interest to WorldatWork readers. All accepted manuscripts are subject to staff editing for style, clarity, length and gender neutrality. Associated Press style is used for editing. Authors will have the opportunity to review the edited version of their article before publication.

Copyright Ownership
After an article is accepted for publication, authors are required to sign an author contract giving WorldatWork copyright ownership of the article. The agreement stipulates that the materials submitted are original and that the authors have obtained any necessary permission for workspan to publish their materials. WorldatWork reviews reprint requests on a case-by-case basis.

In consideration of this copyright assignment, WorldatWork provides authors with up to five complimentary copies of the issue in which the author’s article appears. WorldatWork does not pay for manuscripts.
