Speaker Bio for Tracy Kofski

Tracy Kofski, Vice President Compensation & Benefits, General Mills

Tracy leads the Executive and Broad-Based Compensation, Benefits, Relocation, and Employee Communications functions for the more than 28,000 employees worldwide within General Mills.  She is also responsible for the Organization’s HR Technology/System Planning and delivery of HR Shared Services to employees, managers, and the HR Function.

Prior to General Mills, Tracy was Vice President, Pay & Benefits for Target Corporation.  Additionally, she has prior experience as both an HR Generalist and Specialist at General Mills, and several years as a Compensation and Performance Management consultant for Deloitte & Touche.

Tracy is on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for WorldatWork and served as the 2008 Board Chair.  She is also on the Board of Directors for the Institute for Clinical Systems Improvement (ICSI).   Tracy has been a WorldatWork member since 1991 and has earned her Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), and Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) designations.  She is also a member of the Conference Board Council on Executive Compensation, subscriber to the Human Resource Policy Association’s Center on Executive Compensation, and on the Board for the National Business Group on Health’s Global Health Benefits Institute.

Tracy earned her MBA from Loyola Marymount University and her Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Studies from the University of Michigan.  Tracy and her husband Rich reside in Tonka Bay, MN with their two sons.
