J. is the General Manager of Worldwide Compensation and Benefits at Microsoft. His responsibilities include compensation and benefits strategy, program design and development for all of Microsoft, including heavy collaboration with the sales team on design of sales incentive plans for Microsoft's field sales force. He also has responsibility for Microsoft's Performance Management programs. J. joined Microsoft in June 2004 as the General Manager of Global Compensation, and assumed responsibility for all of compensation, benefits and performance management in December 2005. J. brings over 20 years of Human Resources experience, mostly concentrated in the compensation, benefits and systems disciplines. Prior to Microsoft, J. was the Global Director, Executive Compensation and Variable Rewards for Nokia. Other jobs J. has held include the head of compensation and benefits for Frito-Lay International, a division of PepsiCo. His experience at PepsiCo also included domestic compensation and corporate compensation PepsiCo. J. has also worked for Washington Mutual, Aetna, and other financial and governmental organizations. J. is an active member of The Conference Board and a member of the Conference Board's Executive Compensation Council. He participates in the Global High Tech Compensation and Benefits Roundtable and is a member of World at Work. |
