Jay Schuster, Ph.D., Partner, Schuster-Zingheim & Associates, Inc.

Jay Schuster cofounded Schuster-Zingheim and Associates, Inc., a compensation and total rewards consulting firm, in 1985. He received the WorldatWork Keystone Award in 2006. He advises companies on aligning pay and rewards with business strategy. He is coauthor with Patricia Zingheim of "High-Performance Pay: Fast Forward to Business Success" (WorldatWork, 2007), "Pay People Right! Breakthrough Strategies to Create Great Companies," "The New Pay: Linking Employee and Organizational Performance," and two other books.

Jay was named in "The Guru Guide: The Best Ideas of the Top Management Thinkers" as a motivation and pay guru. In addition to writing numerous articles, he speaks throughout the world about how companies, people and rewards interact to add value to a business. He has appeared on television on CBS, CNBC, CNN and other business talk shows. Jay earned his Ph.D. from University of Southern California and BBA and MA from University of Minnesota
