WorldatWork Return and Refund Policies

WorldatWork accepts payment in U.S. dollars by check, money order or credit card: American Express, MasterCard, Visa or Discover (U.S. only) and wire transfer. Please note that prepayment is required on all orders. Make checks payable to WorldatWork.

Refund policies, prices and fees are subject to change without notice.

The following products are nonrefundable:

  • Course binders
  • Computer-Based Certification Exam Only
  • E-binders
  • E-books
  • E-learning products
  • Job Duty Classification Reports
  • Subscription-based products (Salary Budget Survey)
  • All sale items

When returning a WorldatWork Press publication, the materials must be returned in sellable condition. Returns received by WorldatWork within 15 days of your receipt will receive 100% refund less shipping and handling. Returns received between 16 and 30 days of your receipt will receive 50% refund less shipping and handling. Returns received by WorldatWork more than 30 days after your receipt will receive 0% refund.

Course and Exam Payment, Refund and Cancellation Information
When registering for a live course or online event, payment is required at registration to hold your space. Because waiting lists typically exist, cancellations made 15 days prior to the event will receive 100% refund. Cancellations 14 days or fewer prior to the event will receive 50% refund. Cancellations with no notice or on the day of the event will receive 0% refund.

If you access the e-binder associated with the course and then cancel or transfer the course, you will be charged for the full price of the binder.

Transfers may be made to any other course or seminar subject to space availability. Transfer fees are as follows:

Exam Cancellation Refund Policy:
All WorldatWork Society of Certified Professionals computer-based exams are administered through Pearson VUE locations. When you purchase an exam, you will be directed to Pearson VUE to schedule your exam. Based on the testing center availability, be sure to choose the date and time most convenient for you in order to avoid rescheduling and cancellation fees.

Rescheduling or Canceling Your Exam:
If you wish to reschedule the date, time or location of your exam, contact Pearson VUE at least 24 hours prior to your exam appointment. Pearson VUE charges a $25 rescheduling fee in addition to the WorldatWork transfer fee. Pearson VUE will not allow you to reschedule or cancel your exam with less than 24 hours notice. If you wish to cancel your exam altogether, please contact WorldatWork at least 24 hours prior to your exam appointment to avoid the no-show fee.

If you do not reschedule or cancel your exam with 24 hours advanced notice and you are unable to make your appointment, WorldatWork will charge a $200 USD (premier member)/$270 USD (nonmember) fee at the time you reschedule this exam with WorldatWork.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes past your scheduled exam time or lack the proper ID (ID must be current with your signature and photo), you may be refused admission. You will be charged a non-refundable fee of $200 USD (premier member)/$270 USD (nonmember) by WorldatWork at the time you reschedule this exam with WorldatWork.
