Jim Stoeckmann, Certified Compensation Professional, is the staff liaison to the WorldatWork Compensation Rewards Advisory Board, which operates as the association’s strategic committee for identifying, articulating and prioritizing issues, topics and challenges affecting the profession in the compensation and rewards area. Stoeckmann also has responsibility for developing WorldatWork certification courses relating to base compensation, sales compensation, variable pay and incentives, and performance management. He is an expert on current trends in attracting, motivating and retaining employees through effective design and deployment of compensation and performance management systems.
Prior to joining WorldatWork, Stoeckmann worked in various HR leadership roles with Motorola, On Semiconductor and Medtronic.
In addition to his practitioner experience, he has consulted with various organizations in training and executive education. He is a recipient of the Dean’s Award for Innovation in Executive Education and Leadership Development given by Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business.
Stoeckmann is a regular blogger for WorldatWork Post. He is a frequent writer and speaker on topics ranging from sales compensation to Total Rewards in the public sector. He has been quoted in Inc., Public Administration Times,EconoPlay, Phoenix Business Journal, and various HR trade journals. He has been a guest on Fox News and FedTalk News Radio.
