Leonard "Lenny" Sanicola, Certified Benefits Professional, Certified Compensation Professional, Global Remuneration Professional, Certified Employee Benefit Specialist , and Senior Professional in Human Resources, is responsible for the development and delivery of various WorldatWork educational products and services such as certification courses, seminars, publications, and conferences in the disciplines of compensation, benefits and total rewards.
Other responsibilities include content planning for the annual WorldatWork Total Rewards Conference and staff liaison to the Benefits and Advisory Board.
He is currently an adjunct professor at Ottawa University where he teaches various human resource management classes.
He is active in the Phoenix area HR community, and served several years as a member of the Board of Directors of the Valley of the Sun Human Resource Association. He twice has received the President's Award from the Arizona State Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Council. He also previously served as the president of the Phoenix Worldwide Employee Benefits chapter.
Prior to his WorldatWork position, Sanicola worked at Doubletree Hotels where he was corporate benefits manager for more than eight years. Sanicola also held HR positions with Crescent Hotel of Phoenix and Scottsdale Memorial Health Systems.
He has been interviewed for his expertise in compensation and benefits for Inc ., Wall Street Journal , CFO Magazine, News & Observer (Raleigh, N.C.), Associated Press, Working Mother, Fast Company, and many more.
