2009 Course Pre-Sale Is On
It's that time again! Time to reserve the WorldatWork education classes your association would like to host in 2009. The pre-sale includes valuable information to help you make your course selections for 2009, including professional development scheduling guidelines and course histories.

WorldatWork Now Offers Eight One-day Seminars
WorldatWork is pleased to present a line-up of eight one-day seminars for you to select from, in addition to our two-day courses. Begin your planning today — view the seminar descriptions below.

Old Logos and Broken Links
Are you leveraging WorldatWork? Are you using the most current WorldatWork Local Network logos in your marketing collateral, brochures, and Web site?

Use the WorldatWork brand to help build your organization’s credibility. WorldatWork is recognized around the world for knowledge leadership and quality education programs. Include WorldatWork in your marketing materials to communicate the quality of your programs through your alliance with us.

Visit the “Local Network Logos, Statements, Links and Landing Pages” section of the WorldatWork Local Network Web site. Find easy-to-use logos, prewritten statements, links to landing pages, and HTML code that you can paste directly onto your Web site.

Local Network Survey Coming Soon
Watch for a Local Network Survey coming to your e-mail inbox soon. Keeping up-to-date records and understanding exactly how each Local Network group is structured is key to providing relevant WorldatWork products and services that will make each group successful. The information gathered from the survey will assist us in understanding your organization’s needs for managing and growing your associations. We often get requests for information about what other local groups are doing, so those participating groups will receive the results.

New Online Benefit: Event Change Form
WorldatWork has updated the Local Network Leaders Web page to introduce an Event Change Form. If you need to inform us of a change to your event details (venue, contact information, room capacity, etc.), simply visit the “Hosting a Course” page and select the Event Change Form. Instead of an e-mail, this online form ensures that all information is captured to help process complete and accurate event details and helps the sponsor know exactly what information is needed to make a change. You only need to fill out the parts of the form that are changing for the certification or one-day event. For example, if the location is changing, only fill out the Venue portion of the form. If the changes are universal to all your sponsored events, you only have to fill out the form once, and if you have any questions, contact Rae Marè.

Don’t Miss the Chairman’s Reception
Local Network leaders are invited to network and relax with chic cocktails, fancy food and graceful company at the annual WorldatWork Chairman’s Reception Tuesday, May 20, at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown.

New WorldatWork Marketplace to Feature Local Networks
Local Networks will be prominently featured at this year's WorldatWork Marketplace in the Pennsylvania Convention Center. With the help of Penjerdel Employee Benefits and Compensation Association (PEBA) volunteers and WorldatWork employees we will “spread the word” about the benefits of local networking and the importance of local affiliation. Our goal is to tout the benefits of belonging to both WorldatWork and a local association. See ya there!

Membership Management Program Grows
The Membership Management Program (MMP) is a robust, Web-enabled program designed as "one-stop shop" for Local Network membership management solutions.  This no-cost program enables leaders to easily manage membership database, print a comprehensive and real-time membership directory, generate mailing labels with ease, and much more! E-mail your membership list to Jenny Starbuck to experience the benefits.

Rae’s Reminder
Your Extra Binder
WorldatWork will now be including three additional binders in the event materials sent for your event, rather than two. This is to accommodate late registrants. WorldatWork will still notify the event coordinator of the late registrant and the need for a binder. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
