Question 1:
I am having trouble printing my e-course materials
Cause: You may have a defective version of the FileOpen Plug-in.
Solution: Install this corrected version of the FileOpen Plug-in. If you are in a corporate environment and are not allowed to install software on your computer, please contact your IT staff and have them install this plug-in on your computer for you.
Question 2:
I tried to open my e-course materials and a blank white page appeared instead
Cause: You do not have the FileOpen Plug-in required to open the e-course materials PDF. Both the Adobe Acrobat Reader and the FileOpen Plug-in are required in order for you to view your e-course materials.
Solution: Install the FileOpen Plug-in. If you are in a corporate environment and are not allowed to install software on your computer, please contact your IT staff and have them install this plug-in on your computer for you.
Question 3:
When I try to open my e-course materials a window pops up asking me to login to the WorldatWork website
Solution: Open Acrobat Reader and from the top menu select "Edit → Preferences". Under the displayed "Categories" on the left hand side, select "General". At the bottom of the general preferences screen you will see a checkbox labeled "Enable Protected Mode at startup". Uncheck this checkbox if it is checked. If you do not find this option on this preference screen continue to adding WorldatWork's website as a trusted site detailed below.
Next, add WorldatWork's website http://www.worldatwork.org to your list of Internet Explorer's "Trusted Sites". Follow these instructions from Microsoft To add a website to a security zone.
Question 4:
I can open my e-course materials but I cannot print it and get a series of weird error messages.

Question 6:
How can I access my e-course materials from the WorldatWork website?
Log into the WorldatWork website and in the upper-right hand corner, you’ll see the heading “My Profile.” Click on it. On the “My Profile” page underneath the “My Education” heading is the link labeled “My Course Information.” Click on the “My Course Information” link and you’ll be able to access any course materials available to you. Also, clicking on “My Online Education” will allow you access to any e-course materials available to you through a blended learning or e-learning course.
Question 7:
When are e-course materials available?
E-course materials are available for all traditional classroom courses two weeks prior to the course start date. This is in line with our cancellation policy. For blended learning and e-learning courses, e-course materials are available as soon as access to the course begins.
Question 8:
Can I print my e-course materials prior to my course?
You may print the e-course materials – either in part of the entire document – for your own use if you wish. Traditional classroom participants will receive physical materials at the start of the course.
Question 9:
What if I open the e-course materials but want to later transfer or cancel?
If you access the course materials and then cancel or transfer this course, you will be charged the full price for the course materials. All cancellations or transfers must be made in writing, please contact Customer Relationship Services at customerrelations@worldatwork.org or call toll-free at 877-951-9191.
Question 10:
While trying to install Adobe Acrobat Reader or the FileOpen Plug-in I get a message saying I don't have administrative rights/privileges to install this software. What does this mean?
You are most likely in a corporate environment and are not allowed to install software on your computer. Please contact your IT staff and have them install the software on your computer for you.
Question 11:
Am I guaranteed physical course materials for my traditional classroom course?
Yes. All registered attendees are guaranteed course materials upon arrival in the classroom, as it is included with the price of the course.
