Graduate Assistants are used to teach classes, therefore we classify them as exempt

Hi Carol, can I email you and ask a few deeper questions:

1) Do you work for an Academic Degree granting University? May I
ask which one?

2) Since you classify your Graduate Assistants as Exempt, do you
limit their hours or do you pay a minimum of $455 per week to them?

3) How do you pay them, as stipend or on payroll?

Thank you so much.

One more question

To classify them as exempt, do you use the Learned Professional
exemption?
