Fran Melmed
Fran Melmed is the founder of context, a communication consulting firm that specializes in workplace wellness and health care consumerism. She founded context in 2003 after working for Hewitt Associates (now Aon Hewitt), a global management consulting firm, in their Communication and Talent and Organizational Change practices in the U.S. and U.K. Prior to Hewitt, Fran worked in the Human Resources and Corporate Communications departments for a financial institution.
The National Business Group on Health, MarCom, Society for New Communications Research, and other organizations and media have recognized context's work with clients. In 2012, Human Resource Executive named context’s game to educate employees about high-deductible health plans a “Best Idea for 2012.”
Fran is a sought-after speaker, having spoken at the 2012 Games for Health Conference, South by Southwest, Health 2.0, J. Boye, The American Psychological Association's Psychologically Healthy Workplace Conference and Temple University's Fox School of Business “HR on the Ground” course. Fran was recently named to Luminary Lab’s50 most mind-blowing, provocative keynote speakers (who happen to be women).Fran is also the co-founder of CoHealth, a virtual community for those keen to improve workplace wellness, and an award-winning blogger at free-range communication. |
