Twin Cities Compensation Network Recognized for Outstanding Partnership
Award from WorldatWork Names Local Association of the Year

May 24, 2011 – WorldatWork recently announced the recipient of its Local Network 2010 Local Association of the Year Award. In its second year, the Local Association of the Year Award honors the one compensation, benefits and total rewards group in the WorldatWork Local Network for its outstanding support of the profession in the local community and partnership with WorldatWork.

In a conference for the leadership of WorldatWork Local Network groups on May 22 in San Diego, the award was given to Twin Cities Compensation Network (TCCN).

TCCN is currently one of the largest local human resources associations in the country, with 418 members, including many senior-level professionals. TCCN members demonstrate their dedication to the HR profession by participating in a host of professional development opportunities including mentoring students at local universities. Monthly programming receives high scores from member surveys, providing opportunities for networking, education and job searching. In fact, 98% of members join and stay with TCCN. The association has become the premiere example of how a local association can leverage itself and others effectively, partnering with other organizations including WorldatWork, consultants, individual members and their employers.

“TCCN is a perfect example of commitment. The association attracts people who are committed to their profession, and it offers creative ways for these professionals to commit to the community. The leadership is dedicated, and the membership is engaged,” said Lisa Levey, WorldatWork public education manager. “We are proud to partner with them and recognize all their achievements.”

As the WorldatWork Local Network Local Association of the Year, TCCN receives a $1,000 cash award and a complimentary WorldatWork speaker at an upcoming member meeting.
