With the market and the economy in a state of flux, it’s no surprise that planning next year’s salary budgets will be a struggle.  With some companies taking on pay cuts, freezes, furloughs and more, it will be a challenge for HR professionals to determine how much the market has truly changed and how to reward employees when they are unsure if they will have money to do so.

There are plenty of assumptions about what will happen to pay increase budgets if companies are so tight on cash flow that lay-offs and hiring freezes are so common.  But don’t be fooled.  According to the participants in the 2009-10 WorldatWork Salary Budget Survey, this may not be the case.

More than ever, it is crucial that you understand how to read salary budget increase data. This Webinar will help you see what’s happening in the competitive labor market and why it’s important that you look beyond what is happening in your own company. Through SBS Online, our new interactive data analysis tool, you’ll also be given a quick look at the hardest hit areas and industries. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss with other attendees and panelists about what they are hearing vs. what the data really says.

Attendees will:

  • Learn how to read salary budget data
  • Find out how to identify the best demographic slices of data for each organization
  • Discover what industries/regions have been hit hardest
  • Find out how others are managing salary budget processes in such turbulent economic times
  • See real time results generated with SBS Online
