Shifting Attitudes and Changing Roles in Today’s Employees — Understanding Its Impact on Total Rewards
12:00 – 1:30 p.m. Eastern l 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. Pacific
With an increasingly diverse workforce, no single reward element will be a value driver. Job enrichment, flexibility and career development will be valued above job security and stability. There will be increased importance of the value proposition for individual workers1.
The changing workforce demands the HR professional to re-evaluate their employee value proposition and supporting Total Rewards programs.
Join us April 14 as respected author and President/co-founder of Families and Work Institute, Ellen Galinsky discusses the shifts occurring within the workforce and it’s implications to effectively attract, retain and motivate. Revealing recent findings from the three-decade study, 2008 National Study of the Changing Workforce2, Ellen will highlight viable solutions HR professionals can bring into their organization to design Total Rewards plans that best meet the needs of their business and emphasize their unique value proposition.
During this session, Galinsky will cover startling new findings from their 2008 study revealing such valuable data as Generation Y women (under 29 years old) are just as likely to want jobs greater responsibility as do Gen Y men and much more.
