This course provides an introduction to strategic communication, focusing on total rewards communication. It begins by establishing the purpose and value of strategic communication along with discussing how behaviors can be influenced by communications. In addition, an eight-step process is detailed providing guidance for creating an effective and efficient communication campaign. Case studies provide participants an opportunity to apply the eightstep process. Furthermore, specific communications related to each of the total rewards elements are highlighted, as are suggestions for communicating special situations, such as a merger or acquisition.

Your eligibility expires after 120 days; however, 30-day exam extensions are available for a $165 USD fee when purchased before the original access expires. It is recommended that you complete your exam in a timely manner as exams may be updated without notification. Instructions for scheduling your computer-based exam will be provided at purchase. WorldatWork classroom locations offer e-course materials technology to participants. Your certification course materials (and BAII calculator, if applicable) will be available for pick up on site the day of the course.
