About the Blogger: Ryan M. Johnson is the Director of Information Development and Public Affairs at WorldatWork. His responsibilities include overseeing the association's award-winning publications, book publishing, member surveys (including the annual Salary Budget Survey), information acquisition for both the physical library at association headquarters and the online database, and some Web site features such as Issue Tracker , and government affairs.

Ryan has been with WorldatWork since 2001. Prior to that, he was a consultant in the health care field and a research analyst at Arizona State University. He began his career on Capitol Hill as an aide to the U.S. House Committee on Small Business.
