Courses and Exams

Where can I find my traditional classroom course location information?
You can locate this information prior to your course start date on our website’s schedule page under location.

What is the itinerary for a traditional classroom certification or skill-building course?
8:00-8:30 a.m. Continental Breakfast Prior to Course
8:30 a.m. Instruction Begins
8:30 a.m.-Noon Morning Session with 10:00 a.m. Break
Noon-1:00 p.m. Lunch
1:00-5:00 p.m. Afternoon Session with 3:00 p.m. Break

Note: An optional computer-based exam may be scheduled for the time, date and location of your choice through our partner, Pearson VUE.

How do I register for and schedule an exam?
When you purchase an exam on the WorldatWork website or on the phone with a Customer Service Advisor, you will schedule it through our testing partner, Pearson VUE by visiting www.pearsonvue.com/worldatwork. You will set up an online account with Pearson VUE to confirm your eligibility to take an exam. Once your information is confirmed, you will be able to schedule your exam for the time, date and location you prefer through Pearson VUE.

You will have 120 days to schedule and complete your exam from the first day of your live classroom or online course, or 120 days from your date of purchase for self-study options (self-paced e-learning, exam only, or course material and exam package). A 30-day exam extension is available for a fee of $150 USD if purchased before your 120 days eligibility expires. What should I do if severe weather or another emergency threatens a course I'm scheduled to take?
Call WorldatWork 511, the course and event disruption notification line at 877-511-1608. If anything has changed about your course, a recorded message with the latest information will be on this hotline.

How will I obtain my course confirmation?
A confirmation receipt will be emailed to you within 24 business hours of your payment being processed if you order by phone. If you register online, your confirmation is sent immediately in an email.

What do I need to bring to the exam?
Please bring a photo ID. The name on your ID must match the name on record from WorldatWork. Some computer-based testing centers may require additional identification and prohibit certain items from the testing room. See more information on Computer-Based Testing and What to Bring.

Do I need to bring my course confirmation with me?
The course confirmation is good to have with you because it has your customer ID number and the address of the course. However, it is not required to enter the course nor the exam.

When is my exam score posted to my transcript?
Once confirmed by WorldatWork, you will receive an email with a link to your transcript when your official score has been posted. Your official score will generally be posted within two to four weeks of your exam. Please note: Computer-based testing offers you a preliminary score immediately upon completion of your exam. This score needs to be verified by WorldatWork and is not your official score.

Membership

Can I transfer my Premier membership?
Annual Premier membership with WorldatWork is on an individual basis rather than an organizational basis; it is nontransferable. 

Do you offer corporate memberships?
WorldatWork does not offer corporate memberships at this time. Annual Premier membership and free community membership with WorldatWork is on an individual basis. Please contact our Corporate Education department at 480-304-6980 if you are interested in learning about other options.

My company paid my Premier membership. What happens if I leave my job?
WorldatWork membership is individual, so your membership follows you. Please make sure to keep your contact information current, especially when leaving jobs! www.worldatwork.org/myprofile.

I forgot my ID and password. How do I get it?
You may contact a Customer Advisor to retrieve your ID. Also, it can also be found on any mailing or publication on the mail panel above your name and generally starts with a 5 or 3 and is eight digits long. Your password can be emailed to the primary email address on record. You can follow the prompts on the left-hand side of the WorldatWork website to retrieve this information immediately. You may also find your WorldatWork ID on any receipt.

Do you offer student Premier membership discounts?
We do offer a reduced rate for Premier membership to students and professors with the valid proof of status.  Please check here for details.

Do you offer Premier membership discounts for retirees?
WorldatWork currently does not offer discounted rates for retirees; however another way to stay engaged in the profession is through volunteering or by joining the free WorldatWork Online Community.

Where can I locate forms to print and submit?
On the WorldatWork website, under About Us/Find a Form or contact a Customer Advisor.

How can I obtain a receipt for an order or payment?
Please call a Customer Advisor or send your request via email to customerrelations@worldatwork.org. You will be emailed the receipt in PDF format within 24 business hours.

Can I track the shipping on a book order?
Yes, your receipt will have a link to track your package. You can also call/email a Customer Advisor to obtain the tracking number. Tracking numbers are available 24 hours after your order has been processed.

What are my learning options for WorldatWork education?
WorldatWork offers blended learning courses, self-paced e-learning education, self-study options, corporate onsite education, and courses in a traditional classroom setting. Learn more about the learning options offered or contact a Customer Advisor.  Customer Advisors are available to assist you in finding the learning option for you that best fits your needs and learning style.

How do I start networking with other WorldatWork members?
